  I was chatting with my across the border friend lastnight and she had a wonderful idea for the noodles exchange across the borders. Since there is no money exchanged and no profit to anyone there is no reason we cant put gift on the customs forms. We will still have to declare the value. 4yards X $6= $24. for instance. But calling them a gift should take care of the issue of anyone having to pay duty on anything. The reason this subject came up for me was when the ebay fabric arrived it cost me over $7. in duty or customs taxes. Ouch!!!!!
