    Hi Joy, That sounds very similar to what I have drafted for some of my noodles. I drew it out and showed it to Tom. He thought it looked pretty good. It sure beats cutting them all up! My idea is to sew 4 smaller rectangles together, then add a long rectangle along one side to make a sixteen inch square. If I set the rectangles in so the long side is in different places it looks pretty cool. I cant wait to see a picture of how your friend did hers

    Some of you might remember I put 2 fabrics in the country swap and gave the 2nd set to my friend Jill for her birthday. Well today at Wyndham Patchworkers she showed off the lapquilt she'd made with them and I have to say it looked terrific, and such a simple idea. She simply sewed enough noodles together to make a giant post and rail block the size of a noodle square. Then sewed the four blocks together. Quick, easy and very effective. I will try and get a photo from her to post, but I just had to share it with you all.
