Hello Ruth, Yes I have washed mine and just got to iron and cut up too. Ready to get on with sending it off. PJ was still waiting on a couple but was going to get the parcel off to us this weekend. We may be short but they will catch us up.
Joy, there was some Childrens fabric left for an Auction, so get you $'s ready. PJ will probably get on with it once she is able to get the Noodles off from the October shuffle. We need more in the auctions to make it more fun, so hope more join in the next time. Joyce
A noodle shuffle is a great way for quilters and people interested in quilting to swap Noodles (2-1/2 inch strips of fabric). Members of a noodle shuffle send each other fabric to use in their quilts.

Hi Joyce i am determined to be early with the Nov swap... I have fabric , 2nd lot. Silly me in the 1st lot the repeat pattern was too big. Didn't think everyone would like to get their trees cut in 1/2.
Fabric washed and ready to be cut!
cheers

Joy, good for you. Put it into your gallery when you have it done, if you like. I can try to copy from there or you can send to me by email to go in noodle nut gallery. I havent tried copying from the gallery - from forum page is easy enough. Something else to try !!!!

Animal quilt

I've started cutting my animal noodles. I know I'm slow but I just couldn't decide, all the other quilts gave me too many ideas. Well mine is going to be around the world. I saw a picture of a quilt, and thought the title was apt for the noodle theme. I've sorted the noodles into colour groups, and cut the squares. I will try and post the top when it's done, but I can never seem to get forum photos to work, only gallery. I keep getting illegal messages-they seem to be the wrong format or something. Just thought I'd let you all know.

Helena, thats great! The variety we get is what makes the noodle shuffle so much fun. My Santa fabric isnt quite ready to go since I have been having fun with my new machine and ignoring anything related to housework. Hence no laundry is getting done, not even the fabric for noodling. We are going away for this long weekend, leaving tomorrow night in fact so I had best get my act together. Sighing. Sewing is sew much more fun!!!!!

Hi Anna,
Got my green tree pattern today. My local fabric shop did not have any santa patterns in stock.
I'm now ready to mail mine off. I brought enough fabric for the 21 plus noodlers, with some leftovers for moi.

November Shuffle

I thought I would let everyone know that the November shuffle still has room for a couple of people if anyone else wants to join. You can join the November shuffle even if you didnt join the October one. Someone said they thought it was a double shuffle and you had to join both but you dont.
So come on and join in if you want cute fabric to play with later in December. I think it will be a great way to pass the time in January!
Remember, November theme is Santas and or Christmas trees.
(I collect Santas so this shuffle is especially enticing for me)
Happy Noodling,
Anna

Im sorry Joy, I missed seeing this post come in last week. Life is like that sometimes though isnt it?
To answer your question, the November shuffle theme is Santas and or Christmas trees. Your snowman fabric sounds lovely though. We will have to do a winter theme for sure. But it doesnt look like we will be able to fit it in next year either.
YOu may have to make a quilt with your snowmen and show us so we get inspired to add it to our list.
Happy noodling,
Anna

Hi Marilyn,
The top of my floral noodle quilt is completed. I'm now working on sandwiching it
Alas I'm presently pulling out some stitches since my backing fabric got caught up and BUNCHED.
I don't have a digital camera so will have to get some film for my good old fashion polaroid and take a snap of the top at least, that is if I can still buy film for it.
Will let you know in the next day or so.
The top looks greatAt least I think so. Hee Hee Hee and L.O.L, etc.

Hi all Noodlers. This Noodle Nut has been practising and added a couple more nibbles in the gallery. Dont forget, let me know if you have photos pertaining to noodle shuffles that can be used in the gallery. They dont have to be just completed quilts or projects, but any photos featuring noodles. If you have a photo and would like to email it to me, please send me a PM for my address. Or post onto Show and Tell and I will find it.
Thanks heaps.Marilyn
