I received all my auction noodles today. I won or bought 2 bunches, about 95 noodles of the xmas fabric. Now have to use it!!!!
A noodle shuffle is a great way for quilters and people interested in quilting to swap Noodles (2-1/2 inch strips of fabric). Members of a noodle shuffle send each other fabric to use in their quilts.

Joy, I received your noodles yesterday, and yes! they are similar to mine, there must be a set of them. My son sent me mine from Roma last year, going to look for more when up there for his wedding soon. Will look out for your one too, I love it. The shop up there has quilting fabric for $10 a meter. I am going to look for 1930's as well and get ahead.
Lillibet has posted her noodles as well and I have just to cut mine and I will have them off to USA and Canada as soon as they are all together.
As I am going away on the 16th April I do not expect the USA and Canada ones will be here before then, so I will sent them as soon as I return in early May, I will have my mail kept at PO so they will be safe.
Cheers Joyce

Sounds wonderful. I love black designs, like siloette (spelled wrond) type pictures. Hope you both have the same one, or similar.

My black stump fabric has windmills as well as the huts, and water tanks, it's really aussie, I loved it. It was expensive at $25 meter, but I just loved the design. It's called 'shacks' by Max New. I love their fabric, it is so fine, really good quality. Can't wait to get the parcel, posting mine today when we go to the doctors in Sunbury.

Have to leave it at 20, mine is already in the mail, so if anyone adds on the auction will be short. Isn't it cool getting presents all year long?

Joy, lucky you, we went out to Maldon, Friday, but hubby was on a mission that did not include quilt shops. Village Patch was open too!!!! I noticed that much.
Your fabric sounds great, cannot wait, I think I may have one from the same set yours comes from, mine is the beigie background with windmills in black. I love the black stump, we stopped at a park one day and it was the Black Stump park.
My other fabric has hens, but I am thinking of changing to a country style check to fit in with the other fabrics. Perhaps will have to go to Maldon as well and have a look.
I start my new job properly tomorrow, Embroidering logos on work wear, what a dream job for me and to get paid for it, Maldon here I come.
The final count is 20 so you have a little, very little bit left for yourself.

Getting excited about this shuffle! I went to Maldon to visit family that were holidaying there yesterday, and of course had to go to the Quilt display that was on as part of the festival AND the Village Patch (really great fabric shop). Guess what I got TWO lovely fabrics for the shuffle. Those that aren't in will be sooo jealous of those that are. One is a beige sort of fabric with a black print, it's design is 'the Black Stump' and aussie farmhouses, the second is green grass with little sheep and more little bark hut farmhouses. They are so cute. If there's still time for people to join I think they'll love it. I only got enough for 22 though, so not too big a rush.LOL
