I will add Helena to the list:
Helena
Joy of Quilting
usannda x 2
Sunshine Quilter x 2
JHPym x 2
dtraut
SuzyQ.2 x 2
cobrajetjohn x 2
Total now 13.
Cobrajetjohn, I googled the pattern for Dresden Plate and they are different, there was one with 20, one with 16 and another with 12, just depends on your pattern.
They mostly had repeated the blades in the plate either two, three or four times, so on the small pattern you would imagine not too many blades or would be really tedious to do. We have 13 so far so look for a pattern with 12 blades and you are there.
Some more noodlers would be good though.
Just a reminder we are doing Christmas in July next shuffle, so get busy and dig out all the Christmas Fabrics. It is a double and the criteria was glittery, Last christmas there was a lot with gold printed on the fabrics and it looked lovely. I know a lot of you are busy with the Christmas Ornament swap, so you will need to stock up again after that.
Happy Mothers Day to all, I know you are all unreal mothers who are appreciated. I have been lucky today and heard from all my children and it was great.

A noodle shuffle is a great way for quilters and people interested in quilting to swap Noodles (2-1/2 inch strips of fabric). Members of a noodle shuffle send each other fabric to use in their quilts.

How many blades in a dresdan plate block? We need that many people. I saw the most beautiful small dresdan plate quilt. the blocks were about 6 inch approx. Absolutesly incredible.. Of course I want to make it, might not look quite as good, but who will know, no one will see them together.

As we have discovered it's even more fun when we share! She shares her table with me, and see what happens, she wins the prize!

Pat what a great thing to do with your multitude of noodles. She should have a great time using them.

Well, I went and done it this time! Too much time on my hands last night and so I went surfing. One of the quilt stores I go to online, wouldnt you know it, is having a sale.... on 30s fabrics!!!!! So I bought some more. I got a great group of fat quarters and a piece for sharing. They are all Aunt Grace fabrics so I know they will be nice.
So, put me in for a double swap please. Oh you are going to like what I found. Pretty, pretty, pretty!
Happy shuffling
Anna

There are so many fantastic patterns coming in the magazines here at the moment for 1930's I am spoilt for ideas. I like the thought of Anna's dresden plate, but saw a pattern today that I liked and was a little easier.
We have 11 noodles needed so far a few more would be great, sign up, sign up.

Xmas Auction Noodles
- Xmas Auction Noodles - 2008-05-06 14:44:21-04
Since I had so many (over 100) xmas noodles from the auction and 2 exchanges, I made a jelly roll of about 40 noodles for a prize at the quilt retreat I did not go to this year (but won all the prizes at last year). My neighbor that lets me use her table to layer my big quilts won it, and says thanks to everyone. I told her they came from all around the world so she can make a real xmas quilt with them, with the real meanng of xmas sewed in every stitch.

Hi Joyce, count me in. I am looking forward to making a dresden plate I found in an old book. The 30s fabric should be perfect.

Count me in, Joyce. My fabric was bought on the bus trip - blue with red and white elephants. Hope it goes with the rest, will try and post a pic soon. It's washed but not cut.

I also have 2 fabrics, so will go twice. This is the one I have been waiting for. Nice grandmothers fan or dresden plate? Can't wait. Of course it will be another year till I have time, but that's ok, I can feel it and stare at it.
