The Noodles from the Auction are coming over to Australia next week in the parcel with the Childrens Noodles, I will add them to your envelopes and add the extra stamps. Ya Hoo. More Noodles for you. Have to allow about 10 days for the parcel as we are now sending normal air mail, instead of courier. Then a few days to get to your addresses from me. Joyce

So I did this twice, DOH! the brain has gone haywire, must be bed time.Post edited by: JHPym, at: 2007/10/19 05:08

Very nice, I had thought those were turtles but looked again after you said you liked the alligators. I found gulls, polar, bear, eagles, horses cow skull, what looks like a beaver and others. Looks like that one will be challenging for all. Nice PJ

PJ, just a suggestion, but maybe the extras from the 2 months of Xmas prints could be combined for one auction, since we wouldn't receive them likely till January and could plan for a project for next Xmas (such as the Xmas ornament exchange. It would make for bigger bundles, or more bundles, to auction!

    Congradulations to the Winners!

A special thanks goes out to everyone that took part in the auction!

I will be sending out PayPal Invoices for 3 of the winners the other person contacted Me before bidding and asked for another route of payment. Thank you for asking first I am gald to help out. Normaly there is 5 bucks added to the price of the action for shipping that set. But I failed to get the rules up. If you are willing to pay the 5 for the shipping! AWSOME! if not I am not going to expect it since I was not able to get the rules up.

I will be getting the children's prints up for auction in a couple of weeks want to give a little bit of time for them to get to the noodlers. Don't want to spoil the suprise for them.

    Thanks for Bidding!!!
See You at the next Noodle Auction!!

    Hi Deb,
I will check the noodle shuffle email and if I can find your email there I can send you the addresses. Otherwise, you could send a new email to
    noodleshuffle@creative-quilting.com
and we will email you right back with the address.
    Hope this helps

Ruth was wondering why there weren't any US. bidders. I think I know the answer. Fabric is cheaper here in the US. I suppose the very high end fabrics might be $20 a yard, but there is good quality fabric available for under $10 a yard.

I posted my red star fabric to Joyce today, I sent 23 so there was extra for the auction.(should have been 24 but I used 1 for an Ispy quilt). does anyone know what happened to the childrens prints? If theres extra I'm definately going to bid. I think my $14.50 was a bargain for the florals I often have to pay $22-$24 a metre.

Re:Latest October/November Noodle Shuffle List.

  • Re:Latest October/November Noodle Shuffle List. - 2007-10-16 17:29:51-04
    Hi Deb
4 1/2 inches is right but the 22inches can vary. It all depends on the actual width of your fabric. The easiest way is to fold your fabric in 1/2, selvage to selvage, cut along the fold with sissors then cut these two halves into 4 1/2 inch strips. Yes it is Xmas Reds , Greens, and white for October. You will be sent an address in an email as to where to send them. If not send message to PJ , Joyce, Or Usannda

    I hope this helps
    Cheers Ruth

Also, as to my holiday, I am going to Florida for 2 weeks, as we do every year. My friend will also be going to her sisters place, which is in the same town(city?) that SuzyQ2 lives in , so she hs sent us all the quilting stores and we are arranging (my friend and I) a fabric expedition in Lakeland. Maybe we can convince Suzy to come too!!!

  • Re:Noodle auction winners!!!! - 2007-10-16 13:40:05-04
PJ told me since I was a member of the shuffle and did not have paypal that I could just mail her the money. I presume the others are the same as long as they are known. (Which from the posts I know they are). And why waste postage, I put it in with the noodles!

    Hi Cheflatte,

Anna said the last count yesterday (15th) was 22 - so I just decided to add a couple of extra in case they decided on another auction.

Don't know who actually won - looks like it might have been a draw between Struth, JeanTanner and Cobrajetcon.

I checked the noodle site earlier, but no new posts there.

    Helena,

Helena you have brought up my question exactly. Are we still sending two or three extra for the Auction? Hope the last Auction went well, I was out of town over the weekend so I have not heard who won. I missed the one I wanted to be in on for the same reason. Sad day.

Mailing of October Shuffle

Re:Noodle auction winners!!!!

  • Re:Noodle auction winners!!!! - 2007-10-16 04:29:55-04
Pat, that sounds fine to send both sets at once. Im sure 28 is a generous estimate. Have fun where ever your going in November.
Joy and Jean, I cant help you with the payment. I think we will have to wait for PJ or Joyce to give you those instructions. I will keep track and if you havent received an answer in a few days I will track one down for you.
Thanks so much for your purchases and your patience.
    Hugs Anna

  • Re:Noodle auction winners!!!! - 2007-10-16 03:15:46-04
I am mailing my October and November noodles today, overestimating I hope at 28, since I won't be here in November to mail. The rest can go to the next auction. I will enclose a u.s. money order for the noodle auction and please keep the noodles and send them with the rest when they are ready.
That was more fun than the first one, since time didn't matter, you could bid at any time.
How much did we make on the first auction? The on-line one? And has it helped cover costs? Hope so.
    Thanks again. Pat

Noodle auction winners!!!!

  • Noodle auction winners!!!! - 2007-10-15 18:09:49-04
Well its official. What great fun that was for some of our noodle happy group.

    Drum roll please..............

The winner of Set 1 is Cobrajetjohn with a winning bid of 12 dollars american

The winner of Set 2 is Joyofquilting with a winning bid of 14.50 american dollars. That was a hard fought victory I must say.

The winner of Set 3 is Jeantanner with a winning bid of 12 american dollars. Jean I thought you and Ruth were going to keep outbidding each other until the very end!

The winner of Set 4 is Struth with a winning bid of 12 american dollars as well.

Well done ladies. I am really proud of your enthusiasm. What a fun way to keep the funds flowing so the noodles keep crossing international borders!!

I hope you all have as much fun making something wonderful with your noodles as I did watching the bidding wars.
    Hugs Anna,(PJ and Joyce too)

I checked our emails and as far as I can see there are no new names to be added to the list. So yes, go ahead and cut 22 noodles for Octobers shuffle and lets start shuffling!
If anyone wants to add a couple extra noodles in for future auctions, that would be greatly appreciated.

I cant answer about when to send November noodles as I have been sick and out of the loop for the last while. Im sure we will get together and have an answer for you soon

    Happy shuffling
