  My Sept fabric has a black background with little monsters on it. It will all blend together eventually. I see there are now 17 signed up so that is probably enough for a minimum number I would think. And a few days to go for ones on holiday nd just getting back.

  Joy, you have the right philosphy - my husband's schoolhood (60 years plus) and best friend's wife just died of cancer (ovarian) after putting up a valiant 8 years of fighting.   I think I had better find some girly fabric for the September swap very masculine so far. I had some Birthday fabric already, but my daugter already put her name on that for something she wanted. Going to look again. Christmas fabrics coming in the shops here now so looking forward to that as well.

  Yes thank you I take everything and then later on something turns up to go with it. I've found that if you want something to happen hard enough -it will most times. Whether you call it prayer to whatever God/Budha /Allah etc, or 'the secret' you just have to believe and work toward something. I also think that Karl Marx got it right when he said From each according to his ability - to each, according to his need. and my ability is to quilt.

  People shouldn't feel that their fabric has to go with ours. If you are having trouble picking fabric, it could be a help in your choice.

  Joy, What an amazing list. Once again I am in awe of the generosity that signifies a lot of Quilters, and so many of them are right here.
  Anytime you have a particular need for a type of fabric or anything else like that, please let us know. If there is anything in my stash or that I see I would love to share with you.
  I am off to see if I have any trains. Dont think so but you never know !!!

  I am always collecting fabric for something.I love making quilts (and bags), I only do occasional work , so when I have the money I buy fabric when I have the time I sew it. At the moment I'm making quilts for a stall to raise money for juvenile diabetes camps with the Royal Children's Hospital, fund raising for the walk to cure JD,the local train museum and donating blocks for the local respite house for kids with special needs that my local guild supports. Oh and when a local quilt shop has a sewing bee to make quilts for cancer kids I go and sew for the day. Our local group also donate quilts to the Werribee Mercy neo natal unit. As you can see I LOVE making quilts!!I have to admit though I hate housework, so a good cause is a good excuse to let it slide.

  I read somewhere in another post that if we dont have enough people sign up for this shuffle maybe we could each send in two noodles, one print and one co-ordinating solid. I cant find that post now, but I like that idea. Kathy, yours and mine match so well we could probably use the same color of solid. We have the Planes, and the trains, now we need the automobiles

  That would look great with the trains. I'm glad that I chose the trains. It was between that, Winnie the Pooh, or Care Bears.
  
  But since they say my grand baby is going to be a boy, I bought the trains.

  Maybe if we have a small amount of people to do the shuffle, we could do a full length strip or do two strips with the second one coordinating with the first(solid or tone on tone).

  Well, congrats on winning the auction I so wanted to bid but didn't have a computer during the hours it was time to do so. I think it is funny to read some of the talk of animals never seen before. One night I was sitting in my chair in the living room watching television and I heard an odd noise out side and then saw a movement over my shoulder. I turned around and there was a huge Opposum sitting on the table out side eating rotten peaches from a plastic bag that was moved there after we made peach jelly that afternoon. I am sure he got drunk from the peaches as they were starting to smell of wine almost. It was funny and we wished we had a camera to document it.
