Joyce you are working so hard to get us all motivated, in the Noodle Swap, it was great, a lot of work for you ladies receiving and forwarding on.
Maybe time to move on, then get back to Noodles, or fat qts.
I think the Ornament swap went very well, great excitment of postie dropping an evelope with the lovely stamps through the letter box. At the moment we still get daily postal deliveries here in U K.
I am just going to float an idea, plant a seed.
I have not done any quilt as you go, mean to try it.
Could we all make a block of say Crazy Patch with scraps, Log Cabin, design to be decided, using scraps no expense, in certain colours, then we would only have to add sashings etc.
I have planted the seed of an idea, not all seeds grow.
Summer here in UK, rain, cold, more rain forecast with flooding. So I will be working on my Dresden Plate quilt with Floral Noodles, with blue background, tell myself that is the sky.
Byeee Jo
A noodle shuffle is a great way for quilters and people interested in quilting to swap Noodles (2-1/2 inch strips of fabric). Members of a noodle shuffle send each other fabric to use in their quilts.
