Jo, Isnt the English language a tricky one? Muslin is a fairly dense weave cotton. It is usually an off white or beige. I think it is representative of what plain feed bags used to look like. We call what you are talking about, Cheese Cloth. I guess it resembles swiss cheese. Too funny.
