Joyce, I am with you on that. If Anna can use these and is happy to have them then she should have them. And the 1930s and Christmas ones either auctioned or sold should recompense whoever is owed. How about you Joyce, are you owed some as well?
The idea of a block or some type of swap is really good. Ruth's one has been so good and generated so much excitement from all who took part. Maybe a 1 or 2 times a year swap of whatever kind with paying our own costs will be the way to go. Even a fat quarter/fabric swap - just one in a year. Ruth has done the groundbreaking work of how to organise the block swap and it has worked remarkably well.
So thank you heaps, Joyce, Anna and BJ for a fantastic job of organising the noodle shuffle. I think all of us who took part in any of them would agree it has been a lot of fun. There have been some beautiful quilts as a result - and more to come as we get to use the noodles we still have stashed away.
Marilyn
A noodle shuffle is a great way for quilters and people interested in quilting to swap Noodles (2-1/2 inch strips of fabric). Members of a noodle shuffle send each other fabric to use in their quilts.
